Today's photo is of  life regenerating in my back yard.

The cold and snow and darkness of winter

had caused this tiny plant to lie dormant under the ground.

Today as you can see this plant has chosen to rise

from the dark and give this life another chance.

today I pray that no matter how dark it may seem,

remember it is always darkest before the dawn.

You too, have another chance to rise from the dark and choose

to give this life another chance
